What we do
Tyre Tech applies a sealant inside the tyre. It helps stop punctures in the tread, and it seals small ones as they happen.
It is a permanent sticky layer, not a liquid from a can. When a nail or screw goes in, the sealant sticks to it and seals around the hole. Pull the object out and the sealant is drawn back in. You can keep driving without losing pressure.
Fitted at the Bon Accord workshop, by appointment. About 20 minutes a tyre. It lasts until that tyre is replaced.

Tyre Tech technology is applied so protection lives inside the tyre - ready before the puncture happens.
When a nail or screw hits the tread, the sealant closes around it and stops the air loss. Up to 8 mm, object in or out.

It forms a permanent sticky layer on the inside of the tyre. It is not a liquid. When a nail or screw goes in, the sealant sticks to it and seals around the hole. If the object is pulled out, the sealant is drawn back in and seals the hole again.
Objects up to 8 mm across, whether the object stays in the tyre or is removed.
It seals the tread only. The sidewall and the bead are outside what it covers.
The seal forms straight away, so you can keep driving without losing tyre pressure. Check the tyre when you can. If it still goes down, call the workshop and bring the vehicle in.
Until that tyre needs to be replaced. It does not transfer onto a new tyre.

Cars, bakkies, SUVs, 4x4s, trucks, trailers, plant and machinery, motorcycles, golf carts, lawnmowers, tractors, and farm equipment. Treat all four tyres. The spare is optional.
Yes. For your own safety, a spare is still recommended.
Leave it in or take it out. The sealant seals the puncture either way. It works with tyre-pressure sensors, and it does not affect balance or ride.
The warranty covers the life of that new tyre, for as long as the tyre stays in service. It replaces the tyre maker's warranty on that tyre. Ask the workshop for the full terms.
